Your Support Matters!

Help Maninplace change the lives of people who are homeless in Telford and Wrekin by pledging your support.

Aims & Values

Maninplace is committed to working with the marginalised of our society who are deprived of their basic right to have a home. We work to break down the barriers that prevent non-statutory homeless people from accessing accommodation and assist them to access permanent housing, support services and employment.

We achieve this by:

  • Innovation
  • Acquiring properties
  • Providing accommodation that is affordable
  • Being proactive in campaigning for the rights for non-statutory homeless
  • Providing positive tenancy and management support
  • Working in partnership with existing homeless services
  • Providing sessions in budgeting and life skills
  • Encouraging employment and workability

Maninplace will deliver and achieve its aims through the following objectives:

  • As a community interest company
  • Procuring properties through leasing
  • Providing housing management services
  • Providing tenancy/life skills support
  • Recruiting passionate & dedicated salaried and volunteer staff
  • Establishing financial credibility
  • Partnering with Private developers, landlords and the Local Authority homelessness services

Maninplace aims to open opportunities for homeless individuals to access emergency and temporary accommodation, support them to manage their tenancy, to see them into permanent housing, assist with their successful integration into communities and become part of its sustainability.

Maninplace aims to continue the ethos set in place by its founder, Alan Olver MBE, regardless of the current or future climate and challenges.

We will achieve this by and through being:

  • Person centred.
  • Dynamic.
  • Visionary.
  • Compassionate.
  • Non–judgemental.
  • Motivational.
  • Honest.
  • Inclusive.
  • Stewardship.
  • Committed
